500 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451Doshi Engineering played a crucial role in determining panel locations and providing power for the entire BMS (Building Management System) for the project. Our team carefully assessed the building’s requirements and designed the power distribution system to support the BMS effectively.
As part of this process, we reviewed panel boards to ensure that sufficient power was available for the controls required by the BMS. This involved a meticulous evaluation of electrical loads, equipment specifications, and control system requirements to guarantee a seamless integration of the BMS.

Our scope of work focused on upgrading the Building Management System (BMS) and related electrical systems to enhance the overall efficiency and functionality of the facilities.
In close collaboration with the college administration, we meticulously assessed the requirements of each building, including the Administration Building, Annex Building, Building C, Humanities Building, Medical Arts Building, Library Building, Oakland Art Building, Science Building, Technology Building, Cafeteria, and Service Building.
For the BMS upgrade, our team designed and implemented cutting-edge systems to optimize the control and monitoring of various building functions, such as HVAC, lighting, and energy management. This enabled the college to achieve better energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational cost savings.
In parallel, we comprehensively addressed the related electrical systems to support the upgraded BMS and meet the increasing electrical demands of the various buildings. This involved designing robust power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems tailored to the unique requirements of each facility.
