The project involved the installation of new electrical service, MEP systems, plumbing, and fire sprinkler infrastructure and distribution for a large area spanning 40,000 square feet.
For electrical services, we designed and implemented a reliable and robust electrical system to support the needs of the facility. This included power distribution, lighting, and other electrical requirements essential for the smooth functioning of the medical center.
In the field of mechanical services, we carefully planned an efficient HVAC system to ensure optimal temperature and indoor air quality throughout the facility. This was vital for creating a comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

The Precision Care Surgery Center
The Precision Care Surgery Center, Setauket, NY 11733At the Setauket Surgery Center, Doshi Engineering took on the responsibility of providing a comprehensive array of services for the designed of new HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler infrastructure and distribution. Our team’s expertise ensured that the facility was equipped with cutting-edge systems to meet the specific needs and safety requirements of the center.
In the realm of HVAC, we designed new Variable Air Volume (VAV) rooftop units and a VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system to regulate temperature and air distribution efficiently. For electrical services, we designed and implemented a new electrical service, including three branches – Type 1 Essential Electrical Systems (EES) – for life safety, critical, and equipment, all equipped with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and a backup generator. Additionally, we provided grounding, lighting control, and a nurse call system to ensure the center’s safety and
functionality.
Our plumbing services covered cold water distribution, domestic hot water design, and sanitary and venting design, ensuring a reliable water supply and efficient wastewater management. Fire alarm and sprinkler systems were also expertly installed, with hydraulic calculations to ensure optimal fire protection for the facility.
